STEP Positions

The STEP program in The School District of Philadelphia places teams of mental health clinicians in select District schools.  Teams provide mental health, behavioral health, and social service support as well as school wide consultation and training.  These openings are for a wide range of experience, with the final salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements - STEP: Clinical Coordinator & STEP: School Behavior Consultants:

Master's degree program from an accredited college or university in social work, social services, social work administration, counseling or a related field.

Full-time, paid, professional experience providing clinical or social services to children and their families in an urban environment, three of which have been in a supervisory capacity and has included responsibility for performing Medicaid billable services

A valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania license as a social worker, clinical social worker, professional counselor, OR marriage and family therapist

Requirements - STEP: Family Peer

High School Diploma
 
One year of experience as a parent or primary caregiver with responsibility for making the final decisions for a child or youth who has been diagnosed with a mental, emotional or behavioral disorder
